Muaythai Victoria

About Us

At Muaythai Victoria, we are a passionate and dedicated team working tirelessly to build the sport of Muaythai in Victoria, Australia. Our not-for-profit organisation aims to provide a safe and professional environment for amateur fighters of all ages, from 10 years old through to adults. We believe in nurturing and showcasing the skills of our fighters in the art of eight limbs, while fostering a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship within our community.

Leading the charge is our President, Sy Nadji, who is also the owner of William Street Gym and promoter of Rebellion Muaythai. Sy’s expertise in venue arrangements, livestream management, and matching adult fighters is invaluable to our organisation. Alongside him is our Vice President, Jason Castro, founder of Morakot Muaythai, who ensures smooth operations on fight days and oversees the matches for our junior athletes.

Our Treasurer, Dom Leone, a Trainer and Fight Manager at 8 Blade Warriors, takes care of the financial aspects and ensures that our membership fees cover the operational costs of our shows. Spring Sia, one of the top female Muaythai fighters in Australia, serves as our Secretary, managing the female match-ups, weigh-ins, and driving our Muaythai Victoria Instagram account.

Last but not least, Bridget Thakrar, a Board Member and co-host of the Female Fight Experience podcast, handles official scorecards, occasionally emcees events, and supports various organisational tasks. Together, our team is dedicated to building participation in the sport of Muaythai, providing regular competitive opportunities, and supporting those athletes who aspire to fight at a professional level.
